I mailed a check, but it hasn't been cashed yet. What should I do?
First check with your bank for processing status or holds. Review your account activity for ACH deposits. If a check sent to Union Rescue Mission remains unprocessed, contact 833-383-4876 or email thewayhome@urm.org.
How can I make an online donation to Union Rescue Mission?

How will I know my donation was completed?
After making an online donation, you’ll receive an email confirmation immediately. A receipt will be mailed to you within 8-12 business days. You can also log in to our Donor Portal to access your transaction history.
My credit card was rejected. What should I do?
Sometimes, banks block transactions for verification purposes, even when the information is correct. If your payment was declined, we recommend contacting your bank to verify the issue or call us at (213) 347-6300, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Is my online donation secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and a trusted third-party processor to keep your personal information safe. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, donations to Union Rescue Mission are 100% tax-deductible as allowed by law. URM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. If you need a tax receipt for past donations, please contact us.
How can I update my credit card information?
For monthly donors, update your payment details through our donor portal or [call us] for assistance. URM does not store credit card numbers; recurring donations are processed securely by a PCI-compliant third-party provider.
How can I change or cancel my recurring donation?

How can I maximize the impact of my donation?
There are several ways to increase the impact of your gift:
- Employer Matching Gifts – Many companies match charitable donations, doubling or even tripling your impact! Click here to see if your employer participates in a matching gift program.
- If they don’t, you can still ask your employer if they’d be interested in becoming a matching gift partner to help maximize charitable contributions.

- Stock & Asset Donations – Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds can offer tax benefits while making a significant impact.
